New Music: The Top 5 Most Anticipated Albums Of Fall 2017

While it is sad to say goodbye to the summer, it does mean that fall is here and that means two things: pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks and more new music! As we move towards the end of 2017, we have some highly-anticipated albums coming out still. The list is long, as some major artists are returning to the spotlight with new albums. We take a look at the Top 5 albums for Fall 2017 right here!

5 – Miley Cyrus – Younger Now

We have seen all sides of Miley Cyrus over the past few years, as she was twerking on MTV and swinging on wrecking balls in her underwear. However, this new album seems to be taking her back to her roots, as it is a mix of country and pop. With songs like “Malibu” and “Younger Now,” she is determined to get back on top of the charts and this album should help her out. Release date: September 29th.

4 – Beck – Colors

I mean, Beck surprised everyone and won the Grammy for Album of the Year, so why would his latest album not make the list? He switches it up again, as he is giving us a more upbeat and dance-like album. The first few singles have been great, but it seems like he is releasing the whole album in singles before the actual album is available! Release date: October 13th.

3 – Kelly Clarkson – Meaning of Life

This is the original American Idol, so you better get pumped for her newest album. She shocked fans with a bunch of teasers recently about the new album and new singles. We finally got the details, as the new album is Meaning of Life and her first singles came with it: “Love So Soft” and “Move You.” The first single is upbeat and has a funky vibe to it, which I am digging. She has a great voice, so you can never deny that. Release date: October 27th.

2 – Taylor Swift – Reputation

While we think there will be a lot of demand for Taylor’s new album, we don’t think it takes the top spot. Her first single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” was received with mixed reviews. We all know she loves to write songs about her exes and the drama in her life. She seems to be taking jabs at everyone in this first single and to me, it is old. Stop being a bitter queen and just do you, girl! Release date: November 10th.

1 – Sam Smith – TPH-50HR

Crazy to think, but do you know that Sam Smith only has one album to his name? Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either! We finally get that sophomore album from Sam Smith this fall and he recently released the first single, which is stellar. So, what is with the album title? It stands for The Pink House 50 Heydon Road, which is where he grew up. It is homage to his family and always being there to support him. We think this is going to be awesome and even more Grammys for Smith. Release date: TBA.

What album are you looking forward to the most as 2017 comes to an end?
